KLM changes baggage policy starting April 1st for European flights

 
For tickets issued in economic compartment  on intra-European routes, KLM passengers must pay a fee for checked baggage: 20 eur per one - way if they pay online the fee.
Flying Blue Ivory members(the lowest level) will no longer have free transport for the first luggage, but will benefit from 50% discount from the above fare.
 
 
Those who will still benefit from one free luggage are:
 
• The Flying Blue Elite members – Silver, Gold, Platinum (it is mandatory to introduce the FB card in the PNR before check-in)
• The CORPORATE or BlueBiz passengers (it is mandatory to introduce the company/BlueBiz code in the PNR before the tickets are issued)
• The passengers with tickets issued for Y and B class
• Special categories: sailors / missionaries / deported
 
Standard luggage: one piece of 23 kg with maximum sum of dimensions L + l + h max. 158 cm.(62 inch).
Cabin baggage: 55cm x 25cm x 35cm + accessories - 12 kg
